I received a sample of Nanny's soap (actually more like a creme...pretty soft) from Mikael (via Bill). Thank you gentlemen.
Excellent pic, as usual and lovely blade. Those scales are to die for! You´re welcome, re the soft soap - keep at it though, I think I went thru the same troubles as you ... If you use it every second day for a week or so, I promise you won´t regret it

    Bill,

I'll probably post it Sunday since that's the start of a new weekly SOTD. I've been too busy in the mornings to take SOTD pics. I have time on Saturday mornings, but if I post on Saturdays, I've noticed that few people seem to look at them.

Ive made 4 test lathers and 1 shave and the brush is nothing short of awesome! Lathered extremely well and with the same amount of stuff i usually use, it produced enough lather for 5 passes if I needed it!
It is stiff enough to condition the face but oh so soft!! The bloom keeps getting bigger too. Hats of the the NF brushes. I actually bought 2 of the NF HMB brushes. 1 is being used in a PIF I'm doing!

The lather combo of bairlea farms cucumber/melon and the aloe EJ cream is really nice and soothing. Calming smell and really slick and fluffy!

The Vegetal always reminds me of going to the Barber shop with my Dad when I was younger. The aroma is one of my favorite and I always put a large amount on my face so the aroma lingers.

I enjoy the Bay Rum also. The wife says it makes me smell like licorice.
    Enjoy the day!!

That's exactly what I'm doing, trying to "feel" the difference along the way.

Great looking blade maestro and congrats on the honing...which finisher will you use? JNat?
Thanks Robert. I love your TI today, very elegant! I think I'm going to try the Thuri on her first. I get excellent edges off of my Asagi, but I want to experiment with the Thuri and get some stone time in on it.

    Prep:Hot Shower
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird Custom Double
    Brush:H.L. Thater 23mm

    Cream:Bodega Bomb
