The cherry blossoms are in full bloom. I include them today in hopes that they mark the rebirth of the devastated areas of Japan.

Busy night at culinary school tonight, my first cooking test. A dozen bread rolls, eggs Benedict, crumbed chicken breast with various styles of vegetables and apple fritters with sauce Anglaise. I have to say I'm very happy with how it went. glad its over though.
Just a 2 pass shave tonight, I was looking forward to sitting down with the laptop.
This Wosty is a great shaver and a good looking razor in my opinion. A very satisfying shave.

Your a champion Max, thanks mate. (although I did have to read that sentence about 5 times). Thanks also to Birnado and Robert for the advice. One day Robert I'll get around to trying the 3rd party image host, just dont have the brain power to devote to figuring it out at the moment, beautiful pics as always from you this week too btw.

Way to go Matt. Nice choice of hardware. The superlather seems interesting. How are you liking the NF HMB? I really like my NF 2211. I can also tell you are into your LV AS. Enjoy and great to see you posting your str8 usage

    Tom,
Great razor and I love that beer mug. My parents have a set of 6 vintage, 1950s, given to them as a gift. Very heavy silver.

Sometime a no shave day (or few days) is as good as a great shave. Enjoy and looking forward to your Sunday shave

    Heck grant,
Forget the Wosty. Who can concentrate on your blade when you are so busy making us salivate over that menu? Yuummmm...Sounds delish?

PS: Great blade and shave too

Nice shave Rene with a beautiful blade. How did you do with Al's creme? Is she still giving you some trouble?

Post Week of March 27 SOTD - Thursday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 24mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Razor: 5/8" Thiers Issard "Celebration Silver Wing II" Ltd. Ed. #165, Full Hollow, French Point (Ram's Horn)
Strop: 40/50 (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather)
Lather: Nany's "Spicy One" Shave Creme + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)[B]
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Proraso AS Splash
After Shave Balm: Al's Spicy Orange ASB
    Cologne: Penhaligon's "Quercus" EdC
Results: I received a sample of Nanny's soap (actually more like a creme...pretty soft) from Mikael (via Bill). Thank you gentlemen. I like the scent (so does my wife). I used a pea sized amount of this creme in the scuttle and started working it with the Shavemac. Initially, for the first minute or so, not much was happening, but as I added water and worked on it some more, it started taking form and after ~3 minutes (and lots of water), I had before me, a thick and moist creamy lather. However, the elasticity was not quite there as I like my lather to be a bit stretchy. Nanny's was not (maybe 30& compared to Al's and other good cremes like CF). Nonetheless, I like this creme and on a scale of 1-10, I would rate it as a 5 or 5.5 (10 being best). Points were taken off mostly because of glide, but cushion and moisture were OK. Not the best that I am used to or have seen, but passably OK. The TI had no problems with the whiskers and wiped them clean in 2 passes. Smooth and BBS on this Thursday morning .

    Have a GREAT Thursday gentlemen.
