Grant, I hope your hand heals quickly! Be safe and have fun!
Thanks mate, I've been giving it plenty of Aloe Vera and its doing better than I expected.
I like the honing experiment too, I always like to shave off the coticule, then go to the Thuringian or C12k and try that the next night, then usually a few laps on the Chrome Ox and test again. I just like to know what difference I'm making.

Can you guys see around my picture on pg13 there is a grey border and text saying Attached Image, and there is a little slider bar under the picture. No one else seems to have these things. Am I doing something wrong with the new setup?

I think you have images which are wider than what is displayed without adding scrollbars.
I normally save my pictures with a setting of 7-800 pixels wide.

I just resize them to max 700 pixels and save them to a folder in my computer. Then after I write my post I go to manage attachments, add files, then select the pic from my folder. Thats how I've always done it, what do you guys do?

Hmm, that's exactly how i do it as well. As far as I know, that should work perfectly. Perhaps one of the mods can look into this.

    G.

a 2 second fix and no more border :-).

You are doing everything correct all the way to you uploading the picture. What you need to do after a successful upload is insert the uploaded image where you want it by using the paperclip icon/symbol in your text editor task bar (next to the smiley icon in the advanced text editor). It's that simple. By not using this function the image stays an attached one and not an inserted one so the end formatting will be different.

Sounds like a plan. A cold one would hit the spot, especially during HOT Texas summer months (which I do not miss)...+ thank you for the kind words

That's one great looking blade Otto...Reminds me that I should take mine for a spin soon. She takes on an amazing edge.

PS: Hang in there with the snow and cold. Spring is almost here.

    Glenn,
I couldn't imagine this being fun if no other stones existed. It is crazy talk, LOL. You're going to give me nightmares man, LOL

Great looking blade maestro and congrats on the honing...which finisher will you use? JNat?

I've grown very fond of your Invicta. She's a beauty and in a league of her own. How's your hand treating you and how was the shave with it? Getting any better?

    G.
I link mine through Flickr. I used to use the Manage Attachment and followed Max' advice (see his post below). That worked. On other forums though, I also use Flickr but the attached image icon does show. So, not sure...maybe it is a formatting/programming difference.
