Well, I must say it's looking rather snazzy round here, and the photos are well up to the usual high standard of course. Well done everybody.
Today's was actually a three way test shave, but this rather unassuming razor did most of the work anyway. It's a get-you-started blade for a beginner transplanted into salvaged scales, but it took a nice edge and I'm very clean shaven this evening
Pradat-Brun 5/8 (don't you just love that stamp?); New Forest 2211 silvertip; Nanny's "The Spicy One" soft soap; Taylor's St James aftershave.

Prep:Hot Shower
Brush:TGN 24mm Premium A Custom
Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
Cream:Bayrum & Vetiver Bomb
Razor:Henckels 401
After shave: Brut
EDT: Cuba Red
Result:I did a quick 2 pass shave this morning as I was a bit rushed with it being Monday and all. The Henckels performed beautifully.
Thanks

Brad,
Forget the shave and the gear my friend. It's great to see you here again. Always a treat. But, seriously nice blade. I hope that all is well in your neck of the woods.
beautiful job Tom...I also like that faucet. Gives you room to maneuver too. You need more than just one brush in there, LOL
Thank you Béla. I snatched it from Rene a few months back. I wasn't sure at first, until I shaved with her for the first time (after honing her up).
Hang tough buddy. Our collective thoughts and prayers are with you. It's tough but know this, we are there with you in spirit
You're welcome. Happy to oblige
Great idea, but I have already taken my shots for the week (too short on time in the AMs)...But, I will post the flags with the picture tomorrow.
There she is...Beautiful razor Mark. Nice catch
Super shave and razor Bruce. Enjoy the sun.
Andy,
Just beautiful. I love it. Very clean. I bet it felt great.
I love this razor Glenn. Just wanted to say it again: Nice work on the restore.
Jim,
Stop teasing me with that Blackie. David has another one (7/8") that just as amazing as this. I can't control RAD anymore
