I have to admit you had me going for a minute, but in my defense, its April 2nd here and my guard is down.
Are the scales on that Wacker the factory ones or are they custom jobs, they're very nice either way.

Beautiful blades Ben. Maybe you just don't like 3" strops...that's why you cut them, LOL

Good question Grant. I am not sure. I got the Wacker from John Crowley ~1 yr ago-ish and that's how they came. I have a feeling that he put them on, but not sure. The reason I think that may be the case is because when I was getting the Friodur from him, he mentioned that he could put some fancy scale on them rather than the cheap plastic stuff

    Gentlemen,
Tomorrow will be a busy day for my wife and I and as such, I may not be able to post an SOTD or comment on your what's sure to be wonderful shaves. I will be there with you all in spirit though (even though I am on a 2 week ban, LOL). Happy shaving and see you Sunday (or maybe even tomorrow night).

The scales are the factory ones- please take a look at the Wacker website.

Lindsay's Choice 6/8; Semogue 2009 LE; Tabac soap; Givenchy Gentleman aftershave.

For some reason this razor often leaves me with numb fingers It's the only one that does that, but it's well worth putting up with. I can't say with any confidence that I own a better shaver, which just goes to show that you can't tell a book by its cover.

One picture says it other then the hot shower pre-shave. Still like the DE every now and again like when you need to get and go. Great smooth shave with the Feather blade. See you gentlemen tomorrow looking foward to another week of great pics.
    Later, shave well
    Jim
