Robert, Thank you for the compliment! Photography compliments coming from you mean a lot to me.

The statuettes are certainly Peruvian and yes, they are mainly seen in the south of Peru. So, yes....from the Cuzco area. They symbolize health and unity in marriage and are typically given as a gift when two people get married.

I thought so...Very nice my friend. May you both live in unity (translation: you agree to everything she says, LOL) and health

    Pretty little blade Mikael.

PS: Canada/Sweden will be interesting, but don't discount Russia/US/Czech/Finland.

    @Robert,
it is the World Championship for the youngsters (up to 18 years old). Next year they play in the leaques in USA and Canada.
We got a invitation from the Consulate General of the United States of Amerika (located in Leipzig).
The competitions are nearby... Crimmitschau 10 miles, Dresden 70 miles.
So Anett and I will visit a match in Crimmitschau. I think we'll see the match between USA and Slovakia or between USA and Russia.
And we take our stars and stripes with us!

Post Week of April 3 SOTD -Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Saville Row 3326 Silvertip Badger
Razor: 13/16" Maher & Grosh "Famous Toledo Blade, Extra Hard", 1/4 Hollow Ground, Barber's Notch (Burgundy Linen Micarta - Max restore)
Strop: 50/65 (Neil Miller linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Cyril Salter "Wild Rose" Shave Creme + G.F. Trumper's "Rose" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
    After Shave Splash: Proraso AS
After Shave Creme: Sabon After Shave Creme
Results: I love this Maher & Grosh Maxterpiece . She is one smooth shaver. And the überlather was as amazing as one could wish for. I have become quite a BIG fan of Cyril Salter SC and the scent of its Wild Rose is exceptional. Throw in some of Trumper's Rose, and this lather explodes in the scuttle (even the Double sized one), emanating a sensual rose scent that is reminiscent of the best garden's I have had the pleasure of visiting. Exceptionally smooth shave to start this Wednesday morning. Wife and I have our dental/optometrist appointments today (yeepie kayeh ...NOT).

    ******************************

    Have a TERRIFIC Wednesday gentlemen.

No internet access at the hospital so I'll catch up with all the great SOTD posts in a day or 2 hopefully when we get out.
Take care gentlemen, give your kids an extra hug tonight.

Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers Grant. I pray little Jack gets well soon.
