Thanked: 1072No shave for me today, dont even have time to check out the last 24 hours worth of posts. Jack spiked a temperature of 38.8 C, the procedure is anything above 38 and he's straight into hospital on I.V. antibiotics until they figure out whats going on. Hopefully nothing sinister, he is being a very brave man. So thats where we are, I've just ducked home for some clean clothes and have to get back there. No internet access at the hospital so I'll catch up with all the great SOTD posts in a day or 2 hopefully when we get out.
Take care gentlemen, give your kids an extra hug tonight.

Ohhh...that stuff. Well, I love Peru. I backpacked there in 2000 for ~1.5 or so and fell in love with the place. Lots of culture
Thank you
Stupendous, fantastic, Excellent...I love the green reflection. Beautiful composition José
Great gear David. How do you like the Jack Black creme?
Regarding lenses: it depends on too many factors. What kind of camera? what is the crop factor on it? Do you like to shoot landscape, closeups, portraits, etc? I have a Fuji S5pro (basically a Nikon D200) and I love Nikon's lenses, but they are $$. Sigma makes good ones for 1/2 the price, but you really have to have a keen eye to pick out the right one. Even within the same model/make, you can have two exactly two Sigma lenses and one can be crap and one excellent. You just have to try and see. Nikon is more consistent, not always.
When we hook up, I can show you what I've got and you can test it out. We'll take them out for a test drive.
Congrats Mark...She is a beauty. Watch out though. I do smell a new AD kicking in, LOL
I love how this photo turned out...slightly blown off "whites" do this pict justice. Good eye my friend.
You said it Bruce...beautiful. Great DE (longer than normal handle?)
Try mixing the two (in a super or uberlather)...see what happens. I think you'll like the result
Oscar...always better late than never, LOL. Great choice of SS. MWF is amazing and can be combined with any other creme, etc...However, I think this forum needs to kick it up a notch and flare your RAD to get you to move beyond just the DOVO, LOL I still love seeing it everyday though.
Great shave and gear Frank. Again!!
Nothing beats the basics...Well done. Hope your nick heals fast
Nathan
Great razor the Wosty. Was it different "good" or different "bad". I take it it wasn't as great as the Genevas.
Monroe,
What a wonderful shave with a gorgeous blade...I am sorry that you have to let her go.
Great one Matt...Hope you get to relax a bit now. The GFT Violet is a great creme

Thanked: 2516Thanks Robert! Yes, this is the Black Beauty model of the Gillette Super Adjustable and it has a 4 inch handle compared to the 3 1/4 inch handle on the Super Adjustable razor. These two are exactly the same except for the length of the handles. I actually prefer the short handled version as it's easier to maneuver than the long handled one. I have both.

Awesome Castagnon Tom
Fabulous shave and razor Béla
Otto,
Now that's what I call old style shaving, LOL. It's amazing how much we take electricity for granted.
Mikael,
That's some serious software and a great brush. I love Cyril's Sandalwood. Great stuff. Well done.
Birnando,
I am loving your gear and software. AdP is fabulous as is your CL razor. Enjoy your "Master's" weekend
Fantabulous looking Fili Bill.
Nice brush Oscar
Even those that have met you or know you want to hold a razor to your neck, LOL.

Wish I could take credit for that one, but Neil Miller in England fixed her up. And I wish, again , but she´s prob "only" from early 19th century.
Thank you Robert! I agree, Cyril´s the good stuff - lovely scent, thick and slipperyLast edited by Mikael; 04-07-2011 at 01:41 PM.
