Canadian Valet Auto Strop C Model, I believe ?
Omega Pro 49
Tabac Stick
Palmer's Moisturizing Gel Oil
Pinaud Clubman A/S Lotion
Got this Razor this AM, and had to try it out.
WOW, Talk about blade exposure !
This is possibly the closest shave I've ever gotten from
an SE or a DE type razor ! This thing could give ya stitches
in a second ! You need to be in total focus shaving with
one of these ! I got BBS for real, almost closer than I like.
This Palmer's is new in my shaving regiment, it smells great
and really makes your skin feel refreshed. I had a Fantastic Shave today !!!

Thanks
I like both of them, but what I think would interest you is staying power on the scent?
I would say that the Lime is fading a bit faster than the Lavender. So if you don't want it to interfere with you EdT, I would say to get the Lime.
The Lavender is a bit stronger as a scent as well.
Hope that was what you were looking for buddy!Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Nice one, Birnando! How does the CF Lavender balm compare to the Limes version? I'm stuck between the two. Scent really doesn't matter to me that much; I just need something that won't intefere with my cologne. Tried the Limes (I have the travel size), but want to get the larger bottle as it's more economical.
Interesting. I had considered the Lime for this reason (and most of my colognes are citrus/woody), plus they are out of the Lavender at my store. I'll try the Lavender again on its own before I decide.Last edited by Maximilian; 04-15-2011 at 03:30 AM. Reason: Merged

Great shaves and great shaving kits all around gentlemen. Congratulations to one and all.
I've been seriously under the weather the last couple of days, but will renew my SOTD posts tomorrow.
Until then, as Hog Rider would say..."Shave on!!!""Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

How smooth? Thistle Smooth!
Razor: Thistle Cut Co.
Soap: Col. Conk Bay Rum
Pre: wash & baby oil
Post: Witch Hazel then BodySource Riverwoods ASB
What a great shave. Love this razor. It's pretty embarrassing, but I bought it on e-bay to fix up because I liked the scales I had no idea how great Thistles were (pre SRP education of course!).
BBS smooth, and I don't throw that around! I think the honing skill and shaving technique are finally coming together to reach a higher plane of shaving bliss. Thanks to everyone here for all of the help along the way!
