Thanks Max I was actually thinking of sending this one your way for some fresh scales.....just trying to decide what would go best with it. Thanks for the compliment.

Default Some platinum action... with the twins

    Razor: Henckel's Platinum 401
    Soap: Conl. Conk Bay Rum
AS: Witch Hazel followed by Nivea sensitive ASB

This razor is the closest thing I have to the magical whisker wiper we all dream of. Somehow it just has some 'thing' that none of my other razors do, it is just super, super sharp & smooth. The more I shave, the more I appreciate this blade.

I just realized I have used this shave mug for 16 years now, since I bought my first puck of Williams and started using grandpa's old Gillette SS! I am officially old. The Col. Conk was a gift, first time I have used it. Need to play some more with it, but like it a lot so far...

    Default Thursday morning

    Prep: Hot shower
Soap: Nannys Ice and a Slice
    AS: Mennen
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: W O W

This blade was very sweet, perfect size and balance for me (thank you Jim)! The back is wide and heavy but the blade is hollow and delicate, singing blade (you can clearly hear the edge cut a hair if you do a HHT).

    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: Proraso (White)
    Razor: Bengall Full Hollow
    Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
Result:I really took my time shaving tonight, possibly the longest shave I've ever had. 3 passes and I'm smooth as a baby's butt.
O.K. here is what my dad found in his garage yesterday. It all belonged to his dad. 2 loom travel type strops 2 DE's and a gem, might take a little work but I'm sure I'll get it all back to working order, plus the Old Spice shaving mug in tonights picture. A good haul on any day but when its your grandfathers gear, thats just cool.
Lots of beautiful posts today guys and some gorgeous customs
    Have a great day
    Grant.
