Slept late this morning so gotta go! Edge on this razor wasn't bad but perhaps could use a bit of a touch up. Overall though, a pretty decent shave.

That truly sucks. I'm so sorry for your losses. I hope your OK brother.

    Soap: Proraso white
    Razor: Bengall 11/16 "Sawn-off"

Result: This razor shaves beautifully, which is good because I only managed one pass today. I'm staying at my parents house in Sydney and while in the middle of my shave I was interrupted by my father saying "come and see what I found in the garage" and that was the end of the shave for me.
I'll take a pic in the morning and show you the stuff he found. you guys will like it.
    Have a great day boys

What a shave!! Felt a little sour though, but for over two weeks I´ve tried a new routine, to rinse with warm (warm like when you wash your hands water) water. I never was really irritated, but since I shave every day, sometimes the neck feels a little sour, but that´s much better now.
I love this PC Mikael. How do you like your PS soap? I have ordered the soap/creme a few days ago from Amazon and should arrive by end of week.

Regarding post-shave routine, that's what I do: i.e., washing face with warm water followed immediately with the cold. I love the feel afterwards. I also recommend a toner (like Witch Hazel)...this stuff will tone and sooth your skin before the AS (just a thought).

Excellent performance from the Floris soap, once again.
    Lars,
Nice Chubby 2 and excellent choice for a soap today...Floris is a truly exceptional (and under-rated, imo) soap that doesn't get much attention/mention. She ranks amongst the great ones like DR Harris, etc. Fabulous performer. Well done and

    Wooahhhhh Jeff,
My wife and I's thoughts and prayers are with you, your wife and your family during these "toughest" times. I am so deeply sorry to hear the loss of your father-in law, your "Ma" and your grandmother. It's never easy losing a loved one. Be there for your wife and let her presence comfort you and give you strength in this very difficult time. Please accept my wife and I's deepest condolences my friend. As good as a good shave can be, it will never replace family, or good friends. Those are the ties that bind. We are with you brother. 2011 has been a very challenging year it seems for a lot of folks.

Strop: Heirloom Latigo 3" Razor Strop
Razor: Dovo Best Quality Black 5/8
Shaving Cream: Art of Shaving Sandalwood
Brush: Homemade Silvertip (purchased off a member here many years ago)

Soundtrack: "The Rolling Stones Station" on Pandora (including Stones, Led Zeppelin, others)

Another great shave with another great Dovo. I started working with my left hand more, and while I'm still shaky and not nearly as confident as with my right, the shaves are getting better every day.

    Thanks. I seem to remember she's a 3/4 hollow.
