    Hey José,
I agree with you 1000%. Gotta love those Friodurs. Fantastic shavers indeed. Congrats on getting the edge coticulized.

BTW: have you ever tried Al's creme (Da Bomb)?

The DR Harris shop was a really cool place, lots of great stuff and a wonderful staff.
Great...Thanks Birnando. Now my wife's going to nag me about about doing another London trip, LOL. I am sure once there, Paris will creep up too (since it's a hop distance). London/Paris is all I hear about when it's time for vacation planning.

Not you too, LOL. I thought you were the normal one of the bunch, LOL. I know the others are hopeless. You know you want a Maxterpiece...No good trying to hide in the closet. Come out and admit it, LOL

Hehehehehe. +1. I can see Max rolling on the floor laughing. Come to think of it, we should call 911 in Vegas and have them check up on him to make sure he's OK, LOL. Too much laughing could be hazardous to his health.

Congratulations Monroe. Those sentimental razors are the best.

Beautiful Imp Jeff...I also like shaving straight off the hones without stropping. It gives me a better feel for the edge

Glad you figured out the Bomb. She is finicky, but once you dial her in, she will amaze you. Great Coronet too (HUGE)

    Birnando,
take it easy. All this boys do a good job, but the better team will win.
I think the winners of the World Championship will be:
    1. USA
    2. CAN
    3. SWE
    Other ideas???

    My Friday Shave
Prep: Hot Shower, Baby Oil Gel Preshave
    Razor: Wade and Butcher Wedge
    Brush: Semogue 1305
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
    AS: Alum Block, Skin Bracer
    Finish: Pinaud Clubman Bay Rum

Commentary: Simple as a hammer but a very refreshing way to start the day. The great thing about your sleeping schedule being nuked is that when you wake up at 2 AM, you have plenty of time for a mondobodacious, Hollywood, three pass, BBS shave. IMHO, wedges in general tend to be finicky high maintenance wenches. HOWEVER, once you get them dialed in and squared away the shave quality is amazing. That's where this razor was this morning. I don't think I've had a better shave from this razor to date.

Never, Al's creme it's difficult to find here in Spain, are you thinking about a trade?

    .

    Razor: Dovo Blackstar 5/8/
    Strop: Ambrose Spanish Horse 25/50
    Brush: Semogue 1800
    Lather: La Toja Manantiales soap
    Preshave: Anthony logstics shaving oil
    AS: Weleda Lotion Après rasage
    EdT: Fragonard Cologne Grand Luxe
    .
Summary: Dovo, the biggest razor maker, gives us tools with an excellent perfomance at a reasonable price, far from the chinese bargains in price and quality, but very close from the quality brands in shaving related features. La Toja manantiales....is a easy lathering soap, paired to this humble Semogue (humble in price not in ability) gives me the perfect lather for a close and comfortable shave....Weleda lotion is good but the scent it's not very fine, I like a bit but somebody dislikes it
    .
    Waves from Spain
    .
    Pictures, I liked those 3:
