Glad to hear you guys had a blast. Welcome back.
Paul,
Unfortunately, without a reference to which razor, it's hard to know who should thank you . With that said, this thread features some of the best looking blades one has ever laid eyes on. A RAD enabling thread for sure, LOL
Thank you Mark. Aside from the beautiful blade, it was the color that I was sold on. My wife loved it.
...and here ladies and gentlemen, we have another Maxterpiece. Beautiful Helje Frank. PS: How are you liking the Marlborough soap?
Hehehehehe. I'm just doing my part in supporting the small businesses that are the backbone of this country.
I can see that finish line...I am almoooooooooost there, LOL. Distract me? Who? where? How?
+1
Haaaaaa. I love this one. Very creative Bill.
Holy Moly guys: we seriously need a dictionary to capture all the Max-xxxx that you guys come up with.
You're incorrigible. I love it. We actually need to copyright these.

Thanked: 1185Thursday Dome and Face Shave
Prep: Hot Shower, Baby Oil Gel
Dome Razor: Gem Micromatic Open Comb
Face Razor: Imperial Extra Hollow Ground
Brush: Semogue 1305
Cream: TOBS Eton College
AS: Alum Block, Nivea ASB
Finish: Aqua Velva Classic
Pithy Remarks: Nothing goes better with a sweet flower shirt and a panama hat than a healthy splash of Aqua Velva. The oppressive heat is just around the corner. Headed for a high of 91 degrees today. Not much call for wool felt fedoras in this kind of weather.

Susuma | Semogue 2010 LE | AK 1869 + DR Harris Almond + Glycerin | Alum | Mecca Balsam
Another fabulous shave with my new favorite uber. This combination creates a scent that absolutely fills the den like no other. Add to that the performance qualities of two top notch products, and I'm in heaven!
Gentlemen, the bar keeps getting raised higher and higher here in this thread. Wonderful! He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Frederick Reynolds 7/8 wedge razor, Mitchell’s Wool Fat soap. Not such a fan of the soap, but the bowl is awfully pretty.

Easter Thursday!
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: DR Harris, Silver tip 26mm Razor: Alex Jacques 8/8 Damascus, Spanish point Honing Regimen: : 1-5-10K Chosera, Nakayama Maruichi Strop: Kanayama #90000 Tri-strop Cordovan Shell Soap/Cream: DR Harris Arlington shaving Soap Astringent: Alum After shave Balm: DR Harris Arlington EdT: DR Harris Arlington Results: A wonderfully smooth shave. Did a touch-up of this razor. It was good, but tugged just a tiny bit on the chin. My Nakayama Maruichi fixed that pretty fast. 30 strokes with Tomonagura slurry and 50 on water. Pure shaving bliss

Strop: Illinois 835
Brush: FS: Finest Badger
Soap: Proraso
Razor: Long Life 11/16, Laurel DE for Head Shave
Astringent: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
A/S: Old Spice
The last few times I've picked up this razor I wondered if its going to be due for a touch-up, but it just doesn't want one. It seems to hold its edge very well. Tonight I only went for one pass plus touch-ups, there wasnt a lot of growth after last nights 3 pass uber-lather BBS.
The head got 2 passes with the DE and looks much better now.
