    Lather: AlRaz Bay Rum Cream
    Brush: Thater 24mm
    Antiseptic: Alum
    Splash: Aqua Velva Ice
    ASB: CarrieM menthol asb
    Razor: Flic
Coffee: Dragging arse today. Some home roast in a Moka Pot.
Misc: Usually Shave at night after shower, but did not finish installing the backup sump system until pretty late, so I skipped.
This is one of my experimental "Spyderco UF" razors. I touched it up with some diamond spray on the UF, then rinsed everything and did probably....40ish strokes on clean UF. Better than I expected.
I noticed this morning I have a "farmers tan/sunburn" from playing my first non-rainy 18 holes of the year yesterday. Even the hat tanline....

WOW! An earthy floral explosion occured in the den today. This uber gave such a wonderful aroma, and the best part is it's lingering on! Add to that Mazzolari's wonderful Patchouly fragrance and I'm channelling my inner hippy (of course, I'm the clean shaven and well showered kind of hippy)!

Gentlemen, it's been a wonderful week of shaves displayed. I wish everyone a wonderful Easter weekend!

I've tried to touch-up these 2 razors a couple of times in recent months, but haven't quite been able to get them to where they should be. last night I had all the hones out for another razor and decided to take both these ones down to the DMT1200 and back up again, finishing on the new Coticule. Going down and tidying up the bevel seemed to work, and the edge off the Coti is fantastic. Using just water, the edge seems very sharp and very smooth, what more can you want from a rock? 3 Passes BBS, these 2 razors are back

Thanks for all the great post and pics gentlemen.

Nice blade Ben. Looks like you should have a relaxing day today, in preparation for the Easter weekend. Or maybe another round of Easter Golf?

Congrats Grant. They look fabulous. It's all about the bevel. 95% of the honing game. "No bevel=no go"

    Mark,
Congratulations my friend. Feathers are awesome blades. Ultra sharp. Some don't like it, but it performs best when broken in (I think)

I may be putting this beautiful collection up for grabs on eBay. Not sure yet.

My first real lather. Took me a while! The Musgo Real SC really whipped up rich.
    Smelled great and felt great.

My trusty Gillette. Easter Sunday she's stepping aside for the Merkur 38C.

My Omega brush is breaking in nicely. I really like the RazorRock alum after my shave.

I am feeling great today. Nice shave and nice cologne. Beautiful sunny day.

Yesterday I received my sample pack from Truefitt and Hill. My first high end shaving products.
I can't wait to give them a go!

You gents all have a wonderful day!

Post Week of April 17 SOTD - Friday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Maxterpiece: 7/8" Friodur #17 ss INOX, 1/2 Hollow, Spike Point - in G10 Hunter Orange scales
Strop: 5/5 laps (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Jack Black "Triple Supreme" Shaving Creme + Ogallala "Bay Rum/Sweet Orange" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Ogallala "Bay Rum + Sandalwood"
Cologne: Ogallala "Bay Rum" Double Strength
Results: Lots of good and new stuff. First up is my Henckels #17. She is the twin of the Henckels #19 (in Green Lime G10 clothing - featured Wednesday). This one was matched in similar G10 scales, but in Hunter Orange. The "Twins" go so well together (see this link HERE and tell me what you think). I love these Friodur/Henckels. I honed this one up myself and she is really sharp and super smooth (even Max would be proud - I think). Secondly, Rene sent me some Ogallala Bay Rum/Sweet Orange shave soap and I got a Mango bowl to put her in. This soap smells amazing (my wife loves it too). Thanks Rene . I have become such a Bay Rum fan, that I ordered an entire lineup of their AS/EdC. The lather was super fantastic and the Friodur provided me with one heck of a shave. I love this BBS feeling . TERRIFIC all around. What a way to start this Friday.

    ******************************

Have an FANTASTIC Friday gentlemen .
