This is another razor that has been sitting on the touch-up pile for a little while. I took it to the hones last night and tonight was very happy with the result. 2 passes for a DFS. This ones back in the rotation.
The 14 razor display case is now full, I'll have to hurry up and finish making the next one, there's plenty of razors on the to be restored pile.
    Have a great day boys

Prep: Hot Shower, Baby Oil Gel
    Razor: CV Haljestrand #4
    Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum Sage and Cedar
AS: Alum Block, Nivea ASB, Skin Bracer
Finish: Murray and Lanman's Florida Water Cologne

The edge on this razor is just absolutely STUPID sharp. In fact this might just be as sharp as anything I've ever shaved with, including a shavette with a fresh blade. Funny thing is that repeated shaving doesn't seem to dull the edge at all in fact, it seems to get sharper the more I use it and strop it. The AS/Finish combination was a winner. Skin Bracer and Florida Water are a great refreshing combination for hot weather. I'm now officially smack out of Florida Water. I'll have to hit the Mexican Grocery Store up at lunch time. Have a great Monday, fellas!

@Otto, WOW! She plays Vivaldi! Quite a lovely and talented lady, indeed.

I hadn't shaved for since Friday, but that wasn't going to stop the Buddel! I've been frustrated with the SRD BRO soap; I was just on the verge of PIFing it away. Suddenly this morning, though, it decided to reverse course on me. I got a nice lather out of it. It was not the thick, moist lather I prefer from my MdC and Bombs, but it held up nicely and left my face feeling fabulous after the blade smoothly wiped away any hit of whiskers!

What a way to start a week!

I'm glad you finally got the BRO to work for you. I mainly use it now for überlather.
    For that, it is great!!
