Now, I have other Barber hones, but they aren't even close to the fineness of the Escher.
I'd rate my 3-line Swaty in the 9-10K area. Another I have is even coarser.
The funny thing is, this Norton will take an already refined edge and actually improve on it.
On a dulling blade I can't get that much out of it. In that situation it is more like a barbers hone, only slightly finer.
I'd say around 12-13K, or something like that.
Anyways, I can see why the Axe-men goes nuts about this tiny honeBjoernar
