Wednesday morning
Prep: hot shower
Brush: New Forest, Tubby 2
Razor: E A Berg, special
Cream: Fitjar, Neroli
AS: Mennen SB
Strops: Neil Milller
Result: Very, very clean
I don´t get this cream, it was better than yesterday, but still thin (not watery though). I must be doing something wrong, from what I remember from samples approx a year ago it should be much more of everything. Very good shave never the less.

Wednesday
Good morning Gents.
Another sunny day in Oslo. When spring decided it was time, it arrived with a vengeance. Beautiful warm day ahead
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: Simpson PJ2 Super Badger Razor: Dovo Bergischer Löwe Honing Regimen: Chosera 1K, Shoubudani, with Botan; mejiiro and Tenjou Nagura. Finished with Tomo Nagura, then water. Strop: Kanayama #90000, tri strop Cordovan shell Soap/Cream: Castle Forbes Lavender Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel After shave Balm: Castle Forbes Lavender EdT: Penhaligon's English Fern Results: A very fine shave. Castle Forbes never fails. Great lather!! The honing on the Shoubudani is really pretty straight forward. After only 8 razors on it, I seem to be able to get very smooth and sharp edges. I may have found my preferred honing regimen Well, one of them at least..

Wednesday Morning
Prep: Hot shower – followed by Robeson bay rum (mentholated) beard prep method
SS: Proraso “Sapone da Barba”
Brush: Vie-Long 12326 Boar Bristle
Razor: Merkur 34C HD w/ Wilkinson Sword blade
Astringent: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
ASB: Vifrex + Anherb Natural Aftershave Conditioner
AS: Floid Blue
Result: Cool, close, refreshing shave…
The Vifrex aftershave gel is a new addition to my post-shave arsenal. Wowzers! It has a powerful, yet soothing, menthol kick to it. I really didn't need to supplement it with the Anherb to complete my shave. I'll be using it frequently this summer after a shave.
