And good morning to you--and your beautiful Castagnon as well.
I see that you like the Merkur de razor, Simpsons Chubby and MWF too. It also appears that you had a great follow up to your shave. How is the Creed Aventus?
Very, very clean indeed...
A truly beautiful razor. Dovo's Bergisher Lowe never fails to turn heads.Last edited by jhenry; 05-11-2011 at 09:48 AM.

Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super 2-Band Badger Razor: Devin Thomas "Feather" Damascus 7/8 French Point Strop: Kanayama Soap/Cream: C&E Nomad Astringent: Thayers Rose Witch Hazel After shave Balm: L'Occitane Cade + Vintage Knize Ten EdT: Knize Ten Results: A fine shave. This Chubby continues to impress me. Probably the best lather I've ever gotten out of the Nomad; it just kept building and building!! The razor was quite fun to shave. It was comfortable in the hand and glided through the lather. I'm feeling clean and smooth...

The Aventus is a nice "modern" acquatic style cologne from Creed. It's not my favorite from the house, and has a bit more of a synthetic note to it IMHO than most of their older (particularly the vintage/discontinued lines), but it does seem to resonate with women (especially the younger crowd). Overall, a nice offering, but definitely one to try first...

Thanked: 1072Strop: Illinois 835Thanks for all the great posts and pics boys.
Brush: Comoy Badger
Soap: Tabac
Razor: OCD Razors (Bob Allman) P.O.C. 15/16
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Results: Not as good as I was hoping. It's been a little while since I used this one but tonight it was pulling a little so its time for a touch up. Still after 2 passes I'm pretty smooth, not a bad shave.
