Thumbs up Sun May 22nd - Sat May 28th

    .
    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Fontana
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
    Soap: La Toja Manantiales
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    AS: Booster Mosswood
Summary: The Fontana and La Toja soap were 2 new acquisitions I made this past week. I was pleasantly surprised how both performed. The Fontana was on my wish list for a very long time as I had been keeping an eye out for one to eventually show up as they are not very common. The shave it gave me blew every top vintage straight razor contender I own down a notch. It's an extra hollow ground razor with that nice pitched singing sound when stropping. If you ever get the chance to snatch one up, I would suggest you don't hesitate a moment. The La Toja Manantiales performed flawless. Is it as good as Maison De Candre. It's very good, just different. Both are top performers in their own league. Booster's Mosswood is always a refreshing after shave especially on those hot days here in the desert. I would describe it as light, crisp and fresh. They don't have much alcohol content, it's pretty much short lived, but the scent last long enough, with the right amount of punch, to dissipate before using an EDT.
Enjoy the new SOTD and thanks to everyone for participating.

A DFS to start the day, even though it's way too early. Working 3a-3p again, but at least it starts with a great shave.
    Have Great shaves today, Gentlemen

Only a few entries, and the Shave Week is already a winner! Gentlemen, with my meager collection how will I ever compete with these beautiful blades????

    Default The shed shave

Todays shave was held in the stables due to inclement weather. The stable is warm and dry on cold wet days, but I would rather be outside if I can. However, one must make do with what one has at their disposal.

Location: Property between Toowoomba and Allora

Razor: I introduced my OCD razor to the country life.

    Shave cream: Fauldings

    Brush: Cyril R Salter

Strop: 'Roo hide 2" travel strop, home made.

Well, in your case, you could close your eyes and just pick one of your razors
