Good evening Gentlemen!
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Omega boar brush
Soap: C&E Nomad
Razor: Dixie Blue Steel, 5/8 hollow
Honing progression: J-nats (Oozuku w Botan, Tenjou and Tomonagura)
Strop: Kanayama 90k
After Shave Splash: Lavender spice, home blended
Notes: I had a lot of fun with today's shave. This was the first razor I restored and honed myself. I also brought this razor to today's meeting in Oslo, where Birnando was kind enough to hone it up for me on J-nats. This also made it the first razor I shaved with off of J-nats as well, and I am happy to say I now know what that is all about. All in all a brilliant shave tonight.
Have a great evening folks.

A Jet-Lag Induced early shave
Razor: Joe Chandler 7/8 Barber's Notch
Strop: Kanayama
Uber: DR Harris Almond + AK 1869
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 2-Band
Toner: Thayers Lavender
ASB: Sabon
EdT: Villoresi Piper Nigrum
Result: With 8-days of growth, I was looking forward to a nice and relaxing shave. The Chandler did not disappoint. The first pass removed most of the growth, and after the second pass I was near BBS. A third pass, both for the sheer luxury of this combination, and to finish the job left me BBS smooth!
I apologize for the poor quality picture (as I mentioned in a prior post, I'm relegated to the iPhone because the real camera died in Rome), but wanted to highlight a few of my new acquisitions while in Europe: The backdrop is our "new" 70-year old Persian rug, and I've included the new cologne and a hand-hammered copper bowl from Istanbul.
It's good to be back, gentlemen, and thank's for all your SOTD contributions!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
