Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W Razor: SR Droescher Black Devil Brush: Simpson PJ3 Cream: Proraso Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel AS: Aqua Velva ASG: 444 Summary: Today was brutal with temps over 110F. I needed something cooling so decided on using some proraso, followed up with a mix of 444 after shave gel and aqua velva. Talk about refreshing and cooling. Not only was I BBS but my face felt so smooth and refreshed. Definitely a combo I'll use more often during those hot summer days. Wishing everyone an excellent upcoming 4th of July. Two thumbs up for all the great posts I see, day in, day out.

Mysore sandalwood soap
Mekur 34 C-HD
Gillette super thin
New Forest Tubby 1
TOBS Sandalwood cream
Alum Block
TOBS Sandalwood Balm + Propolis
TOBS Sandalwood Eau de cologne
Well a overdose of Sandalwood never did anyone any harm, as I have already stated in a past shave of the day, no one sit's on the fence regarding sandalwood, the jury doesn't have to retire to give you it's answer, they instanly love it or hate it, well weather looks good so I popped out early with my old Wirehaired Fox Terrier Blue now aged 14 to pick up the papers, mainly for my Wife as I rarely read the papers any more and I haven't purchased a daily paper for more than 8 years, I prefer to do it online for free, you can also be more selective in what you read that's the beauty of the net, great shave two pass with normal little touch up I smell wonderful

I shaved last evening because the warden would not go to dinner with me with three days stubble. I had to shave fast so out came the DE.
Hot Shower
Warm Oil
Dirty Bird Scuttle
New Forest Badger
Castle Forbes
1959 Fat Boy Wilkinson blade
Pinaud Bay Rum
Vaseline for men
What can you say about Castle Forbes Shave cream except fantastic. The aroma, cushion, thickness, glide and texture is just fantastic. the Fat boy does a nice job for me set on 5. I only use the DE blades once so they perform well.
Overall, nice quick shave.
