    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
    Strop: Illinois 835
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: Proraso
    Razor: Bengall 11/16 (Sawn Off)
    Astringent: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
Although this Bengall has been shortened, Its performance is always top notch. A fantastic 3 pass BBS is a great way to relax on a Sunday evening.
I didn't even use any aftershave tonight, I enjoy the menthol sensation of the balm so much that I finished there.
In tonights photo is a carving set of my father's that I finally finished working on. After over 40 years of service the handles were trashed, so I replaced them with Red Cedar Burl. Cut from the same piece of wood as the scales on the Bengall.
    He better look after them!!!

    Default Sunday morning

Prep: Hot shower and Proraso for head
    Brush: Polo 8
Razors: Wade and Butcher + Old type DE for head
Superlather: Nannys Eucalyptus + Top Secret
    AS: Old Spice, Fresh Lime
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

Wonderful blade this W&B, scales where so dry (almost cracked dry) when I found her (blade was in very good nick w almost no hone wear though), but Neil managed to save and improve them way more that I thought was possible. Both face and dome´s clean and soft as a Catfish belly today

Thanks for the sentiment, Bjornar (and for the tub of DC)! Sadly, this isn't holiday--I am going to a two week school for the Army Reserves.

The patina on that blade is great, it shows of its age like a badge of honour.

Nice relaxing shave, I find the cream has a pretty narrow sweet spot but once found its great and smells fantastic.
