Late shave today, but no disappointments! Some of you might have seen this old razor on restorations and I have given it a chance to perform this afternoon. Easiest hone job ever on an old Sheffie and left the 1000 in the water! Slightly audible and cut smooth and sure along the entire length of the blade. I now know what it would be like to have one brand new back in the day! I even had the Wifey do an ATG rub up my neck to approve! Sweet! Thanks and everyone have a Safe and Healthy week to come. Tom
    WOW! Sweet razor!

Afternoon shave. Great day so far. Flew my RC Planes today. Came home worked out to some P90X Yoga! Ahhhh! Then a nice shower and shave. I have been busy honeing this week. 9 razors in 2 days. UGH! One was not for me. These 2 i added one more step to my process i didnt do before. The Diamond i bought maybe a year ago. It looked like it had been burried in sand for 40 years. But for $8 i figured i could work on it. Honeing was some work because of holes on the bevel but i got them out. Both took on a Buttery edge. Very sharp comfortable shave. 2 passes with a touch up in the normal spots for me. I am pleased. Now just 4 more to test. Life is rough! LOL!

Absolutly amazing post guys! Love them ALL!!!!!!!!

    Default Sunday. Sunday,Sunday!

What a Great Surprise! Got a Beau Brummel Wedge yesterday and had to trot the gentleman out! What a shave! I am so stoked this is my first wedge razor and it is a completely different "feel" from everything else. I'm thinking this will definitely be one of my favorites in the rotation.

Thanks for the encouragement Robert..You guys must be a bit tired of the old "Faultless" by now..I ordered another razor nearly six weeks ago and there's no sign of it yet..I doubt customs would have it this long..I do have a vintage razor that needs restoration..If you have resto advice please send me a pm..I'm not able to do the job myself..

    Best regards,
    Julian

    Default Back to work :(

After sporadic shaving for the last 10 days, tonight was my early Sunday, back to work shave.

    Cool Shower
    Warm Oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    New Forest badger
    Geo F. Trumpers Violet SC
72 Fromm Special in Horn, Maxterpeice.
    Stropped 100 laps
    AOS Aluminum
    Pinaud Bay Rum
    Vaseline for men.

What can I say about this razor. I had a nice thick growth of whiskers it just wiped away. Enjoy the evening.
