    Pre-Shave: Coffee/ Shave Secret Oil
    Brush: Omega Pure Badger
Razor: Otto Deutsch's Han's (Hail to the King baby!)
    Strop: SRD Red Latigo
Creme: Castle & Forbes sample from Mvcrash (a surprise in the package he sent containing a Cade Sample ) EXCELLENT STUFF!!
    Astringent Alum Block
After Shave Splash: Caribbean Bay Rum
    Cologne: Burt's Bees Bay Rum
Results: Man I'm torn lately. I'm getting such good BBS shaves that I barely have any stubble 24hrs later! The experience is grand, but I don't want to wait 2 days to shave again. So do I skip the ATG and leave room for quick growth or do I Carpe Deum and feel like a million bucks immediately? I decided to skip the ATG this time because I know the kind of work that Hans does and I'd have no hair DNA left if I went ATG!! Excellent (if incomplete) Shave
Now I just need to go to Atlantic City and Vegas to use up these dollar chips at the 2-4 hold 'em tables
BTW... top notch photo Monday Robert. Those scales are stunning!

BladeRunner001, I really love my strop. I've tortured it of course being a noob, and had to learn to sand it, refinish it, and keep it in good condition. I like a slow draw and prefer to use this strop laying down. I keep it pretty well conditioned (meaning use conditioner on it frequently) so it has a lot of drag. When I got it it was too slick for my tastes. I thought it needed more feedback. A little strop conditioner once a week, with a lot of palm rubbing and I think it's perfect. It was worth every penny I paid for it.

I love OBR in all it's flavors. We even use the soaps and love them for the fragrance they release in the bathroom during a shower. I use it LIBERALLY, and thank goodness my wife likes the scent.

    Happy Shaves!!

    Tuesday

Muehle R89 'Fat tip' open comb
    Wilkinson blade
    Vitos shave cream
    Muehle synthetic silvertip 23mm
Floris No. 89 after shave balm
Floris No. 89 Eau de Toilette

Excellent. The lather generated was very good, the new Muehle synthetic does a good job (first impression), it is a bit prickly but nothing extraordinary. Next one to try is the new R41 open comb which I just received y'day, a razor that consistently gets reports that describe it as highly aggressive.

No picture today again as my Nokia E72 refuses to be recognized by my PC through the USB cable.

Very enjoyable shave, it's hard to fault any aspect about this shave, why would anyone want to use a plastic razor after experiencing such a fine shave, it beggars belief. Today I will be having one of my favourite meals, made by myself of course, Thai green prawn curry, with green beans and basmati rice, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Robert, I find the black treets (carbon steel) suit me very well they are sharp enough and smooth enough but they are a one shave deal for me, ideal for one off a break from str8's. The Futur works best for me with a blade that isn't quite as sharp as say feathers or super thins.
