Thanks mate
My training is just to try to stay in some kind of shape while I wait for my smashed foot to heal to a usable state.
I swim and ride my bike while I wait for my foot to heal enough to be able to run again. I'm told that might not happen, but I stay optimistic until proven otherwiseBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Pre-Shave: Hot shower and L'occitane face wash Brush: Simpson Chubby 1 Razor: Wacker Antik 15/16 Honing Regimen: John Crowley @ Shaving shop Strop: 30/60 SRD Webbing/Red Latigo Soap: Bali Shaving stick After shave: Mennen Results: A memorial lane shave today, got this NOS Bali stick in the mail today, which is the same soap one of my grandfathers used. It's been out of production since 1979, so there was not much scent left, but thanks to the plastic wrapping there was still a hint of the scent I remembered. To my surprise it buildt a very nice and slick lather which gave a wonderful shave, taking my time and letting the scent take me 30 years back in time. The Wacker gave a fantastic shave, no sign of the slight roughness I felt yesterday. Finished of with Mennen aftershave, which was the AS my other grandfather used as long as I can remember. A perfect shave in every possible way, bringing out some nice memories of both my late grandfathers.
Have a great day everyone!Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

I'm glad you like the soap Robert but you just had to throw a "Max" in my face didn't ya!!
The Artisan soap really does hold H2O well. IMHO it almost acts like it's own Uber. Very thick and creamy. It starts off looking thin for the first few swirls then explodes becoming thick and silky! No shave yet as I'm working on some blades for myself and Nervin. I finished most of the blade polishing last nite and now I'm rough designing some kingwood scales making twin versions of W&B Wedge's.Last edited by Maximilian; 07-26-2011 at 08:52 PM. -This was my very first razor, my wife got it from her beloved uncle. For some reason I never used it before today. The vibrating was interesting but added nothing to the shave. It was a very smooth shave. It looks like a Tech but shaves more like an EJ 89. Fine Fine shave. Nice to use a razor with known history.
