Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby 2", 2-band Super Badger Razor: 15/16" Filarmonica "Doble Temple" #14, Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point Strop: 40/70 (Neil Miller Linen / Ambrose Horse Hide Clásico leather) Überlather: La Toja "Mamantiales" Shave Soap Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: La Toja "Mamantiales" AS Cologne: La Toja "Mamantiales" EdC Results: The shave with the Filarmonica was simply fantastic. Those of you that have one know what I am talking about and those of you that don;t...well, you need to get yourself one and you'll know too. Coupled with the La Toja, she delivered a first class, überluxurious experience . Thirty minutes of pure bliss. This is going to be a great Sunday. Wife and I are taking a break from family, gettogethers, nephews, nieces and going out on a date (maybe lunch and a movie? I am thinking "Cars 2" to catch up with the rest of the world. She is thinking foreign film like "Midnight in Paris". Choices, choices .
Have a SPECTACULAR Sunday guys.

Soap-GFT Lime & Kiss My Face Cool mint
AS- Alum
Skin food GFT Lime
G'Day. Nothing beats a big fat wedge for a smooth shave and this one is no exception. After my ususal hot towel prep and lather and wrap. I dip the blade in Ice water during the shave. It's refreshing on hot days and reduces ATG irritation.

Theseus, that elegant handled boar brush raises the bar. Congratulations on a simple, yet elegantly apportioned shave
Mark, that’s a beautiful razor. And for barber’s use only? Does the barber know that you are using his razor? LOL
You said it. Wedges are great for shaving dense beards. Ice water as a cooling replenisher during a shave? Hmmm… I’ll have to try that.
You deserve a rest on Sunday. If I could have slept in late today, I would have done so as well. BTW…How is the Manantiales De La Toja 1OldGI? Just wondering.
Beautiful photo as always Teiste. It appears that you have quite collection of shaving brushes there."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain
