    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
    Strop: Osgar Vintage Shell Horse
    Brush: Silvertip Badger in Cocobolo
    Soap: L'Occitane Cade
    Razor: Unknown Sheffield Wedge 6/8
    Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
    A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Result: Its moments like these that really boost my confidence in my honing ability.
This is only my second shave with this razor since restoring it, and after giving the edge a little refining last night she is now one sweet shaver. BBS in 2 and a half.
This was my first try of the L'Occitane. Funny story there.
When I was in Sydney recently I found a place that stocked it. I saw the puck of soap wraped in plastic on the shelf for $20 and next to it the metal container for $30. I naively assumed the $30 container had soap inside.
The next day when I went to use it I realized I was mistaken, but I was already 30 bucks into this venture so what choice did I have but to go and drop another 20 bucks to get the puck.
Good thing I like it, and a good thing the wife only asked me how much my new "soap" cost.

Uber: RazoRock XXX Cream Soap / Godrej
    AS: Lucky Tiger AF
    EdC: Black Leather
Result: Very lazy Sunday morning shave. I worked this little guy over the PHIG and the paddles. I love the RR XXX mixed with the Godrej. It really makes a great Uber. Lucky Tiger leaves your face so clean and soft. If I get anywhere near BBS, this is the stuff I want afterwards. No touchups were required after 2 passes. It's going to be a great day if this is any indication.

    Razor – Iwasaki Tamahagane
    Brush – Vintage EveryReady
    Soap – Coconut Island bar
    AST- Alum Bloc
    EDT – Vierges et Toreros
    Good morning; second attempt posting..
The Iwasaki’s are pure art to me. You have to get the edge dialed in on these kamisori’s. It can be very tricky. The EDT I have listed is nice but you have to be careful and not put on too much.
