Just fantastic Mikael. That DORKO is an amazing shaver. That brush is to drool over (still waiting on mine...I hate customs)

Sounds like a fascinating interview Tom...You should post it in a separate thread (with their permission of course). I am sure there will be lots of interests from members here and elsewhere.

    Hey Angel,
Glad to hear that a small change can make a big difference. I get my best shaves after a nice hot shower too.

Not sure on the age of it. I have read that it was made by the same company that made Kropp razors. I'll try to get it in one of my pics soon., I really like it.
Thanks Grant. You too with the W&B. Can't wait to see her in one of your picts

Today is my day off so I did a superficial restore on the Lancet Edge, honed it and shaved with it. I am reliably informed that the shape (wider at the toe than heal) is how they were made and it seemed to suit the contours of my face well. It took a lovely edge, I got a good HHT result straight off the stones and after stropping it was super. A satisfying, shave and the 1st of many with this razor.
One of my jobs today has been grocery shopping, buying ingredients for Somerset Pork which I shall cook this evening (pork & cider casserole) and ingredients for some rather indulgent cup cakes which my wife plans to make on the weekend. I am not sure she appreciates how much the ingredients cost but I take comfort that they will certainly cost less than $16 muffins!
    Nic,
Congrats on the restore/honing of this beauty buddy. She looks marvelous and I am sure she shaved like a star too. That's interesting that a manufacturer would deliberately make an asymmetrical shaped blade.

Yummmm...Do you welcome unwelcomed guests?! I (and wife) am tempted to catch a flight and join you and your wife for that wonderful dinner you got planned, LOOOL. We can even take that $16 muffin and couple it with one of Mikael's infamous coffees and we have dessert.

Results: I decided to go with my very first straight razor today. It is smaller than the bulk of my razors, but I dig it nonetheless C&S is smashing stuff. Great scent and wonderful performance. Thank again Robert for inspiring me to get this I'm smooth as a catfish's belly as our late SOTD-friend would have put it.. This one's for him!
    B.,
The first razor always has a sentimental place in our hearts and your certainly is a beauty, regardless of her size and your preference for bigger blades. She will always remain "special". You're welcome with the 88. Glad you like it. It is awesome performance for sure. Nice tribute to Mark (I miss him very much)...as well as Amund

Well you would of course be most welcome! The snag is the time difference, its cooking at the moment and dinner is serves in about an hour
