  Now I originally ordered a larger Flaschner, but to my surprise this little 5/8 arrived yesterday. Turns out there was a little mixup with my order and a larger one is on it's way, and I get to keep both! The razor came decently sharp and just needed some CrOx and CBN love to get going. Nice shave. I will rehone it though, could be a bit better

Jeez Amund...Talk about buy one get one free, eh? That's a nice blade. Congrats buddy. Maybe I need to order one and hope they mix mine up ;-)

Started using the De's more often, one for time issues, but also to switch it up every now and then and really focus on the prep, and software. This was a great shave. The razorock provided a great cushion and scent for todays start.

I took the plane in Barcelona airport. In Europe, if you only has hand luggage, Open razors and blades are forbidden, except safety or disposable razors with enclosed blades (multiblades). You must check-in your luggage if you want to take a SR. But I decided not to check-in, because I had to change plane in Madrid, and the probabilities of losing baggage were very high. And I love so much my SR!

PS: I do understand the frustrations of checked baggage and feel the pain of the consequences...Hang tight, the week's almost up and soon you'll be back home in the comfort of your straights.

Result: Very, very clean
Lather showels are nice, you can shave ½ the face before wiping the blade off (this one's 15/16) The rosary is a Greek komboloi (Cheers K!)
