Fabulous photo Max 9love the colors). Glad you like the Toyo

    Michael,
I love this Puma...beautiful in every regard. The Cible sounds like an interesting creme (won't say that fast without my tongue rolling on itself, LOOOL). How did she lather up?

This is only my second shave with this razor since restoring it, and after giving the edge a little refining last night she is now one sweet shaver. BBS in 2 and a half.
This was my first try of the L'Occitane. Funny story there.
When I was in Sydney recently I found a place that stocked it. I saw the puck of soap wraped in plastic on the shelf for $20 and next to it the metal container for $30. I naively assumed the $30 container had soap inside.
The next day when I went to use it I realized I was mistaken, but I was already 30 bucks into this venture so what choice did I have but to go and drop another 20 bucks to get the puck.
Good thing I like it, and a good thing the wife only asked me how much my new "soap" cost.
LOOOOOOOOOL. I nearly spilled my tea reading this Grant. That's too hilarious about the container. But you didn't feel that the container was on the lighter side when you picked it up, LOOOL? Glad you like the soap though. I must say, sounds a bit overpriced where you are though. The soap is normally $10 here.

Congrats on your honing skills mate. That's a great feeling.

    Mikael,
That's one heck of a stropping regimen. I thought I was nuts using 3 progressions, LOL. I like the way you think buddy.

Great shave with the Revisor and Polo. Did you son enjoy his shave too?

If you like CF, you are going to LOOOOVE Al's shave creme (the Bomb). His formulation was originally based on the CF, but he later exceeded in quality. Great shave buddy.

    Konstantinos,
Sounds like a wonderful shave. Very good point you made with the SS. Surprising to learn about the adjustment period, but makes sense given your 2 points. Well done and congrats

It sure sounds it's going to be an awesome day buddy. That Godrej/XXX sounds intriguing. Both top rated cremes.

IT DOES NOT GET ANY SIMPLER THAN THIS, AND IT SURE DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER...
    - Shower,
    - FS Richmond Finest Badger Faux Ivory Handle,
    - Valobra SS Stick,
    - George Wostenholm&Son "Pipe Razor", 9/16, extra full hollow, singing, plum wood scales,
    - Nivea Anti-Irritation Extreme Comfort ASB.

The rain started... After a very long time... A "real" rain... Thunders rip trough the night sky... The summer was unusually long, and, I would dare say - exhausting. The smell of autumn fills the air, slowly but surely...

Well i was hopeing for a good shave. Really looking forward to it. I wasnt sure which razor to use. I picked one the i had only tried once and thought it was not well honed. But i figured i only gave it one chance. I did not hone it. Well i wasright the first time. It sucked. 1/2 a pass and i had to quickly grab what ever else was out to finish the job. Too bad she is a beautiful blade.

Thank you Robert! What clean a nice SOTD you have today! Again! What camera are you using? I'm thinking of getting a Nikon D90, my Olypus works, but I don't get as clean shots as I would like.

He enjoyed it, but was in a hurry back to the computer game Sometimes I think I'm nuts stropping like that, but it seems to work for me...
