    Default Tuesday morning

Pre-Shave: Just a hot towel today, I'm out for a long bike ride later, so the shower comes later
    Brush: Merkur Futur Silver-tip
    Razor: Juan Vollmer Palmera #14
Honing Regimen: Touched up on Nakayama Maruka Asagi using Mejiro, Tenjou and Tomo Nagura before finishing on a haze of slurry.
    Strop: Kanayama #90000 Cordovan Shell
    Soap/Cream: L'occitane Cade shaving soap
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
Astringent: Osma Alum, rinse, Thayer's Medicated SuperHazel
    After shave Balm: L'occitane Cade
    EdT: Paco Rabanne
Results: A spanyard like this never disappoints. It takes, and holds, the very best of edges. The L'occitane Cade is a very fine performing and great performing soap IMO. Another wonderful and relaxing shave

    Brush: Silvertip Badger in Cocobolo
Touch-up Routine: 60 laps on Coticule, 70 laps Thuringian
Razor: Wade & Butcher "For Barbers Only" 7/8

I must have done something right, BBS in 2 passes tonight.
After another hot day here I love the menthol balm. I enjoyed it so much I walked away after applying the balm and skipped the after shave tonight.

Tornblom | MdC | Shavemac | Thayers Lavender | Gentleman's Tonic ASB | PdN New York

Result: I had to work at this one because I was still so darn smooth after yesterday's luxurious shave. What stubble there was, the Tornblom found and eradicated. I'm clean as a whistle and ready for work!

    Tuesday 20th

    Feather SS and KAI Mild
    Speick stick
Simpsons Polo 10 two band custom
Vifrex after shave gel mixed in my palm with Alt-Innsbruck

Nice overall, ultra close again, the SS bit me twice today, the issue with this razor is that it does not really give audible feedback. Nonetheless the resulting shaves are nothing less than super close and effortless at the same time.

Not been posting regularly lately, hopefully things will smooth out in the next 5-6 weeks and once I know my next assignment location I'll be able to start planning my 'new' life...

    Safety Razor: Timor TTO
    Blade: Merkur #1use
    Astringent/Post: Alum

Comments: Not comfortable shave in Mexico. Not smooth. I miss my straight razors. I’ve only taken this razor for the trip.
