That is one beautiful Delolme. Just stunning. Great choice
Cheers Robert! You're spot on today, as usual Yeah, I _need_ a DSLR camera

    Monday Night

    Imperial Shavette & 365 blade - NF2213 - Derby Menthol Cream - Alum - Aquatonic AS

I can get a straight pretty sharp but not as sharp as a DE blade, so tonight I thought I would bring out the shavette and feel how sharp, sharp can be. A nice thing is that since my last use of a shavette my straight shaving technique has improved so I didn't nick myself. A great close shave, no irritation, but I wouldn't want to do that every shave.
    Regards
    Nic

    Prep:Hot Shower
    Scuttle:Dirty Bird Custom Double
    Brush:TGN 24mm in Crimson Swirl
    Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
    Cream:Bodega Bomb
    Razor: Iwasaki Kamisori
    After shave: Alt-Innsbrook
    EDT: Burberry “Weekend”

Result: I really enjoy shaving with the Iwasaki. There is something very elegant and mystical about it that really appeals to me. The Bodega bomb provided excellent cushion and glide as well as a hypnotic aroma. Have a great day gentlemen!

Prep - Hot shower, Proraso pre/post-shave cream (white)
    Soap - Proraso tub (green)
    Razor - Dovo Prima
AS - Proraso pre/post-shave cream (white)

    Soz, no pic.

First official day on annual leave so woke up feeling good - then remembered the whole reason I took the week off was to do some major cleaning in and around the house! Bummer, good mood died in a flash. At least I could console myself that I'd have a nice relaxing shave to look forward to this evening. The tidying didn't go so good - I think I will need the full week just to clean up the mess I made today - but boy did the shave lift my spirits! This was my first shave with Proraso and it was an absolute joy to behold, the tingle and scent of the pre/post cream and the soap was incredible - I had to stop shaving a couple of times till I could stop grinning like an idiot! Happy days!
