Thanked: 485Sunday
I refreshed the edge of the Klas Törnblom on the Norton 4/8 and Shapton 16k yesterday with the Burrell and the W&B (20 passes on the Norton 8k and then 10 on the Shapton with just a tiny bit of slurry and 10 without slurry, very light). I remember someone telling me that the Shapton 16k makes a really smooth edge, and I think I now appreciate what that means.
An incredibly smooth shave; my best yet over the last three months or so, even did ATG on the neck and jaw line again, and for me, that’s one mean feat with this very, very light razor.

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 17September 24th SOTD
Prep: hot shower and lingering lather
Brush: Col. Conk Bristle
Soap: Proraso & Classic Shaving lime soap
Razor: Wester Bro’s Manganese followed by Wolstenholm and Sons the Conqueror
Post: Razorock Alum and Aloe
No picture again... I think the classic shaving soaps have worn out their welcome, sticky even with the Proraso cream. The Wester Bro is still giving me trouble. Even with a light touch and being fresh off the hones it didn’t want to deal with the day’s stubble at all and left me needing to bring in reinforcements.
A struggle but in the end the job got done.
Now to finish a splendid martini and peruse some shaves...
