    Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Bills horn handle and abolone base with a Simpson super knot
Razor: Hachiken 13/16 japanese frameback, western style
    Soap: Provence Santé
    AS: Blue Floid, Italien
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

Wow, nice blade and I think Neil prob. finnished this one on his Shapton 30K (we're having a test drive for different honing techniques, that'll suit me)!? Edge feeled like in between yesterdays Helje and the day before that Blusmens edge, even though _very_ sharp, but that's in these framebacks nature, I think. Nice shave, never the less

... and this mornings shot of espresso:

Most of our money goes to Greece, but we get no razors

Yes, let's do so. I'll send a message to Max.

Using my Eagle is really a pleasure now that I've got a way to examine the edge. I polished this guy until I was happy and it was one of the finer shaves this week. I've gotten such good shaves this week, that I only have had to shave once every 2 - 3 days. Not kidding. I'm really happy with the close shaves, but bummed because I really enjoy my shaves and no sense in shaving a face that doesn't need it. The combo Uber smelled FANTASTIC. I've got to try that again!
    Mike,
Congrats on getting such wonderful shaves buddy. The Eagle is beautiful. However, I am sorry about having to wait to shave...that is a bummer

Congrats Rene on a beautiful Maxtom. I think this is by far the hollowest blade Max has made. Enjoy her in good health buddy

Woaaaaah. beautiful frameback Mikael...These Japanese blades (even the hollow ones) are a bit on a stiffer side. But awesome shavers nonetheless. Congrats buddy

I was really lazy this morning but I did finally get up and shave. It was difficult hauling my butt out of bed but it was more than worth it.
