    Default Friday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    Razor: Revisor 6/8
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/English bridle
    Soap: Mühle Sea Buckthorn
    After shave: L'occitane Verdon
Results: A great shave to kick off the weekend I've had the Sea Buckthorn for a while, but only used it once I think, I really don't get why? The scent is very nice and fresh, and it makes some pretty nice and slick lather to support the Revisor

    Have a wonderful weekend guys!

    Friday 23
    No shave today.

Yesterday at night, I left Mexico City and I've arrived today to Andorra 20 hours later. I'm so tired that I only want to read yours comments, guys, and go to sleep.
    Angel.

You wouldn't appreciate it. Not nearly enough gunshots to be heard...

I was thinking just last night that the occasional burn which I used to get when I started both DE and str8 shaving is a thing of the past now that my technique is pretty much sorted.

I don't know how many str8 shave you have under your belt but it takes a lot of us a few months to get good shaves and even now, over a year into it, I am still learning and improving.
I liked the look of the Seehund - I saw a few posts on here about that type of razor and it looked good to me. I'v got two other razors which are the same size, grind, shape, and they were both shave ready when I got them. I guess it's possible Neil's blades are that bit sharper than I'm used to; I'll try out the Seehund with my regular brush and a soam/that I'm familiar with to make sure.
As for shaves, I guess I'm now close to about 25-30 shaves - each ones seems to get better and better...I love it!!!

I'm very fond of my Seehund, its a great blade and even my average honing ability has managed to put a sharper edge on it than most of my razors.
