    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
Uber: Tabac Cream, Tabac Soap+ glycerin
Razor: John Hassal 6/8 near wedge
    Toner: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel

I've only had a couple of shaves this week. I keep finding myself up against 3 and 4 day growths. But I guess that's what wedges are for
The Tabac Uber is always a winner in my books, and this great razor provided me with a fantastic 2 pass shave.
I'm feeling relaxed and ready for the weekend

I know this is a recycled photo from last year, but I like it enough to give it another run.
Thanks for all the great posts and pics gentlemen, and have a fantastic weekend.

    Prep: Hot Water Wash
    Razor: Texas Shumate
    Brush: Semogue 1305
    Soap: VDH Deluxe
    AS: Corn Huskers Lotion
    Finish: Aqua Velva Classic

It just doesn't get more Winn Dixie than this. However, what this shave lacked in high brow sophistication it more than made up for in quality. My granddaughter's glam shots made me laugh this morning so I decided to include it.

I missi my Ogallala soap. Why did I let it go?

They also, to my surprise, sent 5 1 oz samples of their aftershaves for free!!

I went with the basic Bay Rum soap tonight and it lathered to a pretty amazing degree; almost like peaked egg whites. I had to add some more water because it was pretty dry on my face, but once I had the right consistency the soap performed admirably.

I love shaving with the Hamburg Ring blade I picked up from Rune. It's also one of my most photogenic shavers

Weapon of choice today was Thiers-Issard Crown silverwing No. 92, a personal shaving favorite. It got 40/80 gentle strokes on a Scrupleworks 3" and was ready for the job.
