Ahh, so you know of this place - natch, natch, wink, wink

Thank you, it's a great shaver with a delicate grind. Your Palmera sure's sweet and I wouldn't turn one down, infact I've been looking for one a long while now, but without luck this far (I want one in good nick).

Post Week of September 25 SOTD - Friday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 24mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Razor: 6/8" Thiers-Issard " Celebration Silverwing Ltd. Ed" #165, Full Hollow Ground, French Point (w/ Ram's Horn scales).
Honing (refresh) Regimen: 8 (very light) laps with CrOx on Premium Bridle IV leather
Strop: 55 laps (Ambrose Horse Hide Clásico leather)
Überlather: Martin De Candre Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue AS
Cologne: Martin De Candre "Limette" EdT
Results: Time for the Thiers-Issard to shine today. Love this little beauty. After a couple of months in hibernation, I didn't take any chances and decided to refresh her edge with CrOx and she performed just like a TI should. I don't have to rave much about the MdC to this crowd .. A refreshing shave to start the last day of the end of the week.

Have an OUTSTANDING end of the week gentlemen .

    Razor: Dovo Best Quality
Brush: Jade and brass handled boar
    Cream: Arko Cool
AS: Thayers Lavender and Arko Cool AS
Result: Never ceases to amaze me how well Lynn hones razors. I've had the Dovo since the beginning of February and I have yet to even begin to think about touching it up. It has gotten at least twice as many shaves as most of my other blades. They've all been touched up, some of them multiple times. The Arko cream was, as always, perfectly servicable. As far as the Arko AS cream goes, I'm becoming more impressed every time I use it. normally creams and gels dry out my face, but the Arko keeps it nice and moisturized.

A nice long sleep last nite after the past few weeks really restored the internal batteries. Went for a long hot shower and moved to the Glory! A NOS JA 250th Anniversary blade. Honed it up last nite starting with a Norton 4/8, Naniwa 12K and finished on the Shapton 16K. 50/100 on the SRD English Briddle IV and it was ready for 3 pass bliss!!!! Robert I realized I now have both the blades we talked about a few months back! The Vetiver is such a nice compliment to the MDC/Endymion mix and SWMBO loves it! Well I think I'm done rejoicing and need to get some real work done today but it's a faceterbation day for sure!!!!
    Have a great Friday all!
