Post Week of September 25 SOTD - Thursday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 30mm Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger
Razor: 8/8" Palmera #14, Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point (w/ Black Acrylic scales + Taquá wood wedge). This beauty was restored by Dylan
    Honing Regimen: Choseras 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k + Maruka Nakayama Asagi w/ moderate Tomonagura slurry w/ dilution
Strop: 0 laps (Ambrose Horse Hide Clásico leather)
Überlather: La Toja "Manantiales" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose, no alcohol)
After Shave Splash: La Toja "Manantiales" AS
    Cologne: La Toja "Manantiales" EdC
Results: I picked up this Palmera from Justin (aka, Bassguy - This shave's for you buddy). She was rescaled by Dylan and she looks very elegant . This one looks different than most Palmeras I have come across. Not sure why , but possibly due to her being either an older or newer grind. Regardless of age, she is a marvelous shaver and I do understand why these are so sought after blades. This one gave my Filarmonicas a run for their money . Coupled with the La Toja Manantiales product lines, today was another terrific shave day.

Have a MARVELOUS Wednesday gentlemen .

2 days of not shaving so I could let my face heal, and have a little more to shave off. I was ready too. I was beginning to have some withdrawals!! The Salamandar is still shaving fantastic. 3 passes and only a couple of weepers. The ATG pass on the neck left it as close to BBS as I'll ever get (until the next great shave anyway). I loved all the pics over the last 2 days. Keep it up men!
    Hey Mike,
Nice shave and the withdrawals are understandable...especially after 2 days, LOOOL. Why the weepers though? Hope they're not too bad

A Maxterpiece on eBay? That's sacrilege...There should be laws against that, LOOOL. But, glad she turned up in a good home. Congrats buddy. She's gorgeous

Hehe, I think so I was actually quite early ordering one, but it took quite a while before it got here.

12/8 Kenny Powell Army Razor-RazoRock Limited Artisan

Finally home for a bit and shaved up with a great 2 pass shave with the beast of my stable! This weekend will be a special shave with a nod to Robert(drool anticipated!). I'm using a stock pic from the last shave with it. Missed the forum and the boys while gone but your pics and SOTD kept me motivated. HOOAHH!!

You might be surprised. Quite nimble in the hand. Just stropping her is work.
