Just a sec. You used that meat cleaver??? For your first shave??? Oh. I see you're from Texas. You're probably like one of those bandits or something...

    Hey guys,
I am going to take a sabbatical from SOTD for a couple of days . I have project deadlines looming that I need to finish by Tuesday and those I am relying on are not pulling their weight. So, I may be on and off. I do apologize for my semi-absence

But the shaves must continue. Shave on brothers

    ________
    Cheers,
    Robert

Prep: Hot Shower / Greek Olive Oil Soap / Nexus Conditioner
Razor: My Good Friend John's loaned Beauty of a Wester Bro's Yankee Shaver and my Weishi DE
Hones: Frictionite #00 5 both sides, 3" chestnut leather 25/50 before 15/20 after cleaning

Result: I've waited 3 days for this shave! Uber was great, cool and smelled excellent. That Yankee chased 3 days growth running and screaming! A little touch up with the DE around the 'stache and patch. The alum revealed not a nick or burn anywhere. What a great shave. Thanks John!

    Soap/Cream: Speick Men Shaving Cream
Strop: Herold Razor Strop (Model 9185)

    AS: Lotion Mennen, Grand Large
Cologne: 4711, Acqua de colonia Lavender & Thyme
    Comments:
Fast shave. In one hour, we’re going to go to Barcelona (3 hours in car). We have a family reunion and we’ll stay until tomorrow morning when we’ll come back to Andorra.
Shave has been very smooth. Speick (what smell!) is an excellent cream. Lather is consistent and protective. Solingen is one of my favorite full hollow razors and easy to use.

    Have a nice day, gents
    Angel.
