Prep: Hot shower followed by Proraso pre-shave cream.
Razor Selection: Wade & Butcher 7/8 circa 1860’s. This blade was fully restored by RIP, LLC (Restorations in Perspective)LLC. The blade is old and very fragile therefore cleaning was done up to a certain point for fear of breakage. Newly fabricated horn scales with stacked washers to represent the era.
Honing regiment: Set the bevel on a 1K Nani without slurry followed by six dilutions on a Belgian Coticule; arm shave and the blade was popping hair. Finalized with forty laps with water only and stropped on horsehide.
Soap & Brush Selection: La Toja shaving cream whipped with an SRD Silver tip badger brush
Astringent and AS Selection: Razor Rock Alum block complemented with Spanish Floid Suave.
Results: The blade performed flawlessly, the pivot pin was thereafter tightened, other than that the blade centers well and fits the hand well with good balance for stropping and shaving. I am a happy HOG.

. Sorry I've been out of the fray for what seems to be a lifetime, but I am taking a quick break and coming up for some air before delving back into my files and losing my mind. Hard to believe that I haven't left the house for almost 3 days (except to go and visit family for a couple of hours yesterday) and no shave since Thursday (I think) 
. From the looks of it, you guys have been squeezing in some TERRIFIC and wholesome to goodness shaves
. Too many shaves to catch up individually but I did have a very quick glance. All I wish to convey to you gents is:
