    Good evening Gentlemen!

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Haryali badger
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: E. Alberto, 5/8 wedge, spike point
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Home made Fougere splash
Notes: It's been far too long since my last post here, it's been busy both at work and in my personal life so there has been little time for my shaving hobby. Not to say the shaves have not been great, just not much time for photos and forum time. Today I dug out my camera, loaded my brush well with some lovely MWF and proceeded to have a brilliant shave. 3 relaxing passes to BBS, and the splash left me feeling just great.

Good to see you back in the SOTD and on the forum Sten.
I was just talking to Amund, and we almost got worried there for a second mate.

I hope things settle down, and that you find the time to hang out over here more.

Indeed it is, some razor talk and a couple beers would suit me just fine

Great posts as usual. I always like looking through these threads but keep forgetting to post my own! Today was my first shave away from home. I was spending the night in Edinburgh with my fiance. We went to a wine-tasting fair with some friends and had a fantastic time. Travelling light all I took with me (shave-wise) was my Dovo Prima Steel razor (pre-stropped), a palmolive shave stick, an old bristle brush that I didn't mind getting crushed to bits in my bag, and a small travel-size aftershave lotion. Despite strange surroundings and some pretty basic gear the shave this morning was excellent! There were a few weeks recently where I was struggling to get good results, but the last few shaves have been great and I'm really enjoying it all again. I felt like a new penny this morning after my shave, despite the copious amount of red wine sampled the previous day!
