Well the first time using this razor since I gave it a light restore, after a lucky bid secured this for me on the Bay, in fact the first time the razor as ever been used by anyone or honed for that matter, because it was unused in the original box. It gave up a very nice shave, I think I will put away as more of a collectable, such a rare item to find a 70 year old razor unused with the original box and instruction leaflet. Two pass shave minor clean up feeling good.

With all the turmoil here and the silly things our PM continues to do, who has time to think about shaving choices... Whole ritual was interrupted twice (call from S'pore and then the DHL man bringing another package from Shaving.ie) - a fair shave nonetheless.

A fine, quick shave. Gotta run to work now!He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Thanked: 1072Prep: Hot Shower/Hot Towel
Soap: Proraso
Razor: Pa's Gem with Feather Blade
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
A much needed head shave tonight, I was starting to look like a Hippie.
2 passes with the Gem and I'm shiny smooth.
I love my DE's for head shaves but I do find the Gem superior. Both in results and in how easy it is to use.
Thanks for all the great posts and pics gentlemen. I haven't had a lot of time to comment or chat lately (still doing 11+ hour days at work), but I appreciate each and every post.
You guys are awesome.

Hope everyone is well. Been absent for a few days since we continue to be powerless. Hopefully we'll get power back soon.
at least we were in Philly and had a few good dinners.
Enjoy the day.
