Week of October 30 SOTD - Tuesday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger Maxterpiece: 7/8" Geo. Wostenholm IXL "Celebrated", 1/2 Hollow Ground, Barber's Notch (w/ Black G10 scales) Honing (Refresh) regimen: 8 (light) laps on CrOx treated Premium IV Bridle leather Strop: 0/45/30 laps (Neil Miller Linen / Imperial Shave "Pegasus III" Horse hide leather / Cordovan leather) Soapreme: Al's Custom "Black Pepper/Cloves/Lavender" Shave Creme + Arko Stick Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue AS After Shave Balm: Al's "Spicy Orange" ASB Cologne: Acca Kappa "Blue Lavender" EdT Results: Time for the IXL to shine through on this beautiful post-Halloween Tuesday. Once again, I opted for the Arko today, but this time in combination with Al's Bomb creme. In contrast to yesterday, I used a little less Arko and the scent was much better but with equally über-amazing performance. I know Al's creme is the crème de la crème, but what I have come to really appreciate is Arko's performance. They should make this with better smelling essential oils. Beautifully BBS and satisfying shave.
Have an ASTONISHING Tuesday gentlemen.

Tuesday
Razors: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra (2)
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Tabac
A/S: Master Topaz
I was tired from staying up too late watching my beloved KC Chiefs beat the San Diego Chargers in overtime so I decided to make today a DE day. Put the Astra I used yesterday in my favorite DE razor and had a near BBS shave in three passes. Topped off the shave with the Master Topaz and my Tuesday was off to a good, if sleepy, start.
