Friday
Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8
Brush: Altesse Badger
Cream: KMF Key Lime
A/S: Booster Jickey; Grey Flannel
Great Friday morning shave. I'm not sure if I should have used the Dovo two days in a row, but it did such a good job yesterday that I wanted to use it again today. The Booster Jickey has a very clean scent that does not last long at all, so I added just a touch of Grey Flannel behind the ears (almost like an EDT). While Grey Flannel smells decent enough in the bottle, it doesn't work all that well on me, so I will be getting rid of the bottle before too long. Happy Friday!

I must say those wooden cases for those Pumas are almost as good looking as the razor. Lovely picture.
Sooner or later I'm goint to have to give in and try some MDC, it gets such rave reviews. Awesome shot as well, really like the way you framed that.
Those Wilkinsons don't get enough love, I think too many people compare them to the English ones. Personally I think they are great and one of my go to blades with a DE.
Well that's what its all about enjoying yourself, no reason why you shouldn't use the same razor twice in a row. I've just just had my 1st Dovo delivered but I won't be using it for a week as I'm letting my wife give it to me as a birthday present.Regards

Yeah, we do....
I did suggest a while back that we take it in turn to deputise fro him in his absence but nobody seemed to want to step up to the mark, and after Jeff's comment yesterday I thought I'd take a 24 hour shift
A pale imitation I know but when I read these posts its what I think so, hey why not type it tooRegards

11-11-2011, 05:27 PM #190Razor:Gem 1912 with Gem CS blades
Brush:Rooney Pure Badger
Cream:Erasmic
AS:Thayers Lavender and Brut Attitude
Result:Pulled out the Gem today as I only needed a quick one pass touch up after yesterdays shave. I need to learn to adjust the amount of lather I make to the amount I actually need. Had enough for 3-4 passes and only needed enough for one. Good thing the Erasmic is inexpensive.
