Razor: C.T. Bingham Late F. Fenney Tally Ho
Brush: Jade and brass handled boar
    Soap: Palmolive EU shave stick
AS: Thayers Lavender and Brut Attitude
Result: Time to use new shave stick number two. Wasn't too impressed with the Palmolive at first glance. First pass felt kind of sticky and wasn't very pleasant. Used a little more water when relathering for the second pass. WOW!!! The Palmolive exploded into a rick thick lather that looked like Barbasol straight from the can. Bountiful thick lather that made me forget about the first pass. The Tally Ho/Palmolive combo left me with a DFS in two passes(didn't want to press my luck trying to get BBS after the subpar first pass). Have a great day everyone.

    Default Friday

    Good Morning

Some great posts and good to see some new participants.

    Day off

    Prep: Shower
Strop: SRD Premium 1 Leather 30,70
    Brush: Kent Boar
    Soap: Proraso
Razor: Wacker, 6/8" Spanish Point, Inox, re scaled in Olive Wood
EDT: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue

I am amazed by how much lather this little brush produces. I went for 3 passes today, just because I could.

    Have a Great Day

    More Edge Testing
    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: PC Woodcraft 24mm Super Silvertip Snakewood
Razor: TI 6/8 Le Canadien Snakewood
Honing: A touch-up on the Norton 4k/8k and an 8k finish
Strop: 30/60 SRD 3" Black Latigo
    Lather: T&H West Indian Limes
    Astringent: Alum & Witch Hazel
    ASB: T&H West Indian Limes
    Cologne: T&H West Indian Limes
Comments: This was the first razor I ever honed and it took me three tries to get it right, but it finally delivered a smooth, wonderful shave. I understand why they call these a singing razor, as it sang a beautiful sonnet all over my face! West Indian Limes by T&H was nice to sample, but it won't make "the list" for me. The Noob Chronicle will be updated tomorrow, so until then, have a great evening, my SOTD Brothers!
