RESULT: This fantastic razor, - my first Max Sprecher custom - arrived yesterday from Max. "Spectacular shave with a piece of art." Not only beautiful, but it's very sharp and very good balance too. I'll really love it. THANKS MAX!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

    todays set up:

    Dovo 6/8 Best
    JM Fraser's Original SC
    Thayers
    Aqua Velva Original Sport AS
    Nivea Sensitve ASB
    Bigelow Green Cologne

Second day in - the hollow under my jaw (left side) continues to be irritated - I just need to get better with my off-hand. Other than that, I stropped the razor for the first time - seemed to work well. No cuts or nicks, but I confess to a few minor touch ups with a DE to clean up - under my lower lip and under my chin... every day os progress, and learning how to control the razor.

Really looking forward to the vintage Boker I sent off to gssxigun for honing to make it back - see how that one shaves.

Forgot to snap a picture today but went with a CO Bigelow theme:

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Lather: CO Bigelow + Glycerin
    Brush: Jack Black
    Razor: JR Torrey 5/8
    Post: Alum
    ASB: CO Bigelow Elixer Black
    Cologne: CO Bigelow Elixer Black

The Torrey that I used today is the one that started it all for me. It was gifted to me by Oglethorpe 2 years ago and I will forever be grateful to him.
