Shave of the day - First Straight Razor Shave in two years
Dovo 6/8 Best Quality
EverReady brush w/ Golden Nib 22 mm badger
Trumper's Coconut SC
Thayer's
Aqua Velva Blue
Nivea ASB
L'occitane Vetyver cologne
My razor arrived from Lynn yesterday and I jumped back in today. For the first shave in two years with a straight, I'm pretty happy - I missed a bit on my lip, and a I have a bit fo razor burn in the hollow under my jaw (non- dominant hand) but otehr than that - I'd give it 7/10, and I mut say I really enjoyed my shave today.

Ok, that was Mr Nick Senior telling me to not be in hurry, he told me with an almost 2 inches long and very thin nick. Nothing serious though, but a healthy reminder... Nice cream though, easy to use and very nice "cover", even though this frameback was used to harshly.
... and of course, with this brush, this mornings coffee:

It's an Xpec kind of day!
Prep: Hot Shower
Soap: Xpec
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
Brush: Vulfix #2234 Super Badger
Blade: Dubble Duck Satinedge
Post: Alum
ASB: Xpec
Today was my 1st experience with the Xpec products. Feel like my lather needed A LOT more water, but I fully own that one. Love the scent of the ASB. Shaved after the wife left for work so I'm going to have to wait to till tonight to get her scent "verdict".
