Week of November 27 SOTD - Friday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 24mm Shavemac D01 Silvertip Badger Razor: 13/16" Geo. Wostenholm "Original Pipe Razor", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point (w/ Blue Paua scales) Edge refresh: 5 (light) laps on CrOx-treated Premium IV Leather Strop: 0/60 laps (Ambrose Horsehide Clásico strop) Soapreme: Al's "Almond" Shave Creme + RazoRock Italian Master Barber Ltd Ed Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose, no alcohol) After Shave/Cologne Splash: Floïd Italian Blue After Shave Balm: RazoRock AS Wax Results: A magnificent shave this AM with the Wosty . Hadn't shaved since Wednesday and this blade made absolutely no issue of the rough growth...The prep was a combination of Al's new soap soap/creme and the RazoRock Ltd Ed soap - two top notch products. The lather just exploded out of the scuttle and the pure almond scent was a tantalizing delight to the senses. The glide was nothing short of outstanding as was the cushion, moistness and longevity. Everything in life should work out this good. I should be receiving my Thäter brush later today...Off to make this Friday count and finish the week strong.
TGIF brothers...Have an OUTSTANDING end of the week.

Friday - Third day in a row for me - so far so good
Prep: Conditioner in the shower
Brush: Golden Nib 22 mm Best Badger in a funky old Ever Ready handle (my restore)
Razor: Dovo 6/8 Best Quality (blond scales)
Cream: Omega SC
Post: Thayer's / Proraso AS Splash / Nivea Sensitive ASB
Cologne: Occitane Vetyver
Decent shave - did better on the spots I missed yesterday, but then missed others (me = noob) Got a better pass under the curve of my chin today, but didnt do as well on my upper lip. I was a bit rushed, and it shows in the shave. No cuts, but I am still trying to deal with the double task of finding the angle, but using no pressure.... It'll come, I know... but I am really liking the Dovo razor, and I am enjoying the ritual of strop, lather, shave.... nice start to the day.
Have a good Friday gents.

Good evening friends!
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Frank Shaving finest badger
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: John Barber, 5/8 wedge
Honing progression: Chosera 1k, naniwa SS 2k, 5k, 8k, 12k, finished on a Schwedenstein
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Home made Rose Vetiver splash
Notes: A brilliant shave tonight. The MWF needs no presentation, exellent suds as always. The razor was gliding effortlessly through any stubble, and the splash left me engulfed in a fragrant bliss. I got this razor a while back and finally got the scales redone, it is now sporting horn scales with a bone wedge. I need to take some pics in daylight for the scales to show properly. I am very happy with both it's looks and it's performance.
Having friends over this weekend, their 5yo daughter is very picky and won't hug anyone that has stubble on account of it being "prickly! Ouch!". We'll see if I pass the test
Have a brilliant weekend guys!

Saturday Early Morning
Allen & Son - Omega Boar - Palmolive in a ramekin - Alum - Old Spice Whitewater
A great shave. This razor holds a soft spot for me, its the razor I learned to hone on. I struggled and even now its one of the toughest razors I own to hone.Regards
