Thanked: 485Yeah, but what if you have only one? what we need is a single stand that clips onto a brother stand; making two stands. That way, if we have one DE it balances nicely, and then when we get the second (as we invariably will) it still balances nicely.

Good morning friends!
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Frank Shaving finest badger
Soap: Eveline Men Line Classic Shaving Cream
Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: Rostek C70 CCCP 9/16 smiling hollow ground round point
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Vetiver splash
Notes: I have been looking forward to shaving with this razor for some time, it is my first russian make. Honed up on Chosera 1k, naniwa SS progression and finished on schwedenstein, followed by a thorough stropping. Crispy sharp and comfortable edge, but quickly becomes harsh and biting if you slip up your angles. I did not, so it behaved nicely in my hands, just a little more sting from the AS splash. The suds were adequate, nothing fancy. I did feel a little dry after my shave so had to bring out the moisturizer.
Have a great week Gentlemen!

Razor – King Midas – Shoulder less
Brush – Simpson Chubby#2
Soap – Gada
AST - ALUM
AS – Stephan Bay Rum
Went with a hot towel wrap, lather, another hot towel wrap, lather and shave. The Gadda da Vida shave cream is most excellent. It lathers great in my scuttle and has great glide. Smells good too. I went on line and nabbed some vintage Bay Rum from the 60s. It must have aged like fine wine,. Have a great week gentlemen.
