Surely this is my last shave this year.
A long walk through the woods with the dogs and a nice hot shower was preceded.
In the village is already fierce fireworks. Young people who can not wait until 00.00.
Not very pleasant for the animals, but once a year .. must be able to.

    prep. as said shower
    strop. 30 linnen/50 leather
    brush. boar
    Soap. MB Creme brulee
    razor . Max schuckar 55
as. Jean Paul Gaultier, Le Male
    Result..a very nice.. BBS

have a pleasant change from year 2011 to 2012

Prep: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil Soap
    Razor: Geneva Cutlery 5/8th's
    Brush: Omega 48 Pro
    Soap: L'occitane
    Toner: Thayers Lemon W.H.

    Balm: Nivea Sensitive ASB

I can't get over how much I like the combo of the Omeaga 48 and L'occitane.. This combo produces very good lather.

I have the vintage and the smell is divine but it can be very stubborn to get a perfect lather. It has a tendency to dry out very fast. On the other hand using to much water makes it to airy and breaks down the lather. Getting it to be perfect is not an easy task with my water and whatever not other variables. But the scent is to die for, it's that good.
I'm not sure, it was a spare puck sent to me by a friend. He purchased it as "a second" and received extra by mistake. When the lather is right its great but the sweet spot is rather too easy to miss for my liking. I agree though the fragrance is great.
