Thanked: 1185Prep: 2 mile leg stretcher, lukewarm shower
Razor: 1910 Gem Lather Catcher
Brush: Semogue 2000
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat

Finish: Old Spice Fiji Body Spray
OK fellas, here comes a bold statement: This razor with a fresh blade in a two pass shave will rival and (in most cases) surpass the quality of shave produced by any other shaving implement of any kind...period. This thing is just an amazing shaver. Picture an expertly honed, big heavy chopper in the hands of a barber who has given 300 straight razor shaves a day for the last 45 years. Were talking catfish belly smooth without even trying very hard

A Christmas to be Thankful For!!
.
.Locale: The place Santa is about to Visit Music: Elvis - If Every Day Were Christmas Prep: Hot Shower / 4 Hot Towel soaks Razor: 5/8 restored Spike near wedge Hones: CrOx Paddle 40 laps + 3" Big Daddy Felt/Chestnut 25/100 Brush: Custom 24mm Silvertip in American Ash - my favorite brush, builds lather amazingly well Uber: Cella + Speick = I read earlier that a lot of folks scoop some out into their bowl and use. I had never tried it but gave it a try tonight. Cella built the most amazing lather I think I have ever gotten from it. About a fingertips worth in the bowl and she exploded into some of the finest ever! AS: English Leather Splash Edc: Stetson Result: A super shave for Christmas morning! I'm gonna look and smell great for Santa today. I tried a less is better shave today and it turned out great! I love those darn Spikes. They shave like the Devil!! NO burn, NO nicks, NO cuts and NO sting from the alum or AS. Even went ATG along the jaw, and still no burn. It was like shaving with a butter knife, but the lather in the sink showed it was doing its work very well. A perfect 3 pass shave. What A Wonderful Christmas!!!
Happy Shaving!!!!
Mike

What an early day. My son, who is 12, woke me up at 5:30am. He never got up that early for christmas before. UGH! Kids are happy i went back to sleep, well kinda. I honed this Engles up in the big batch. Still 4 more to test shave. I started the shave but felt it could be a little better. Brought down the new Thuri and gave it 10 with a slurry and 10 on water. Made a noticeable diff. A nice 2 pass shave. Not my best but nice. Love sandalwood!
